Aamir Khan has made a bold break from the OTT system by releasing Sitaare Zameen Par directly on his YouTube channel Aamir Khan Talkies via a transactional pay-per-view model, priced at ₹100 per view (available from August 1, 2025).

Rejecting subscription-based platforms, Aamir calls his new setup “Janta Ka Theatre,” aiming to mimic the traditional single-pay theatrical experience digitally—this prototype reflects his belief that OTT platforms risk undermining both box office potential and creative control.
